Bug Description
I'm using Kubuntu Dapper and I have not "ivman" (which did the automounting in Breezy) installed.
I can mount a USB memory stick and manage files with Konqueror just fine. The "mount" command says it is mounted like this:
/dev/sda1 on /media/sda1 type vfat (rw,noexec,
And this "/media/sda1" directory is created automatically if it does not exist. But when I choose "Safely Remove" from desktop icon's right click menu, I get the error message:
[Window title:] Error - kio_media_
umount: /media/sda1 is not in the fstab (and you are not root)
Please check that the device is plugged correctly.
Yes, I have no "sda1" in my "fstab", but how could I have since USB stick might next time be device /dev/sdb1 or /dev/sdc1. I can't even umount it with root access (device is busy). If I just plug out the USB stick, the desktop icon disappears and the device is no longer in "mount" commands list.

This does not happen every time--sometimes it works fine--but haven't found any logic yet.
