Bug Description

My usb keyboard is dead after a suspend/resume cycle with Dapper Flight 5. The usb mouse works, but I have to unplug and plug the keyboard to get it working again.

Please try flight6, or upgrade your system to the latest dapper.

The problem still exists on Dapper Flight 6 live cd. dmesg output attached.

Still dead with this version of the kernel (Ubuntu 6.06 LTS Beta)

After a second (or third) suspend/resume cylcle, the keyboard did not die! I will have to investigate this further.

Adriaan,

Have you discovered more information about your problem?

As well, does the new kernel in the archive help?

Thanks.

I upgraded to Dapper so I can test more easily now.

I can confirm: after the first suspend/resume cycle the keyboard is dead. Every suspend/resume cycle after that the keyboard keeps working.

Not here. I'm using only hibernation for some days now, no reboot, and it's always the same, need to re-plug every time to make the keyboard work.

And now the keyboard seems to work even after the first suspend/resume cycle, I guess the problem is fixed (at least for me).
