Bug Description
When I boot up my computer it shows the output fine (I have a epia board and a tv connected to the tv out). When ubuntu starts up the display gets lined (seems like some frequency issue). Strange thing is - when gdm shows up it is shown correct. So I wonder what to do to get startup to a a reasonable display.

When you say the display corruption is "on startup", do you mean during the graphical boot splash that displays the boot progress?
If so, are you running dapper, or breezy? And which kernel version? (The output of "uname -a" would be helpful there).
If you could also attach the output of "dmesg" as an attachment to the bug, that would be great.
