Bug Description

the hicolor icon looks like a mouse (ok, it maybe is supposed to be a plug with a wire, but this doesn't make sense for wireless)

The icon is /usr/share/icons/hicolor/22x22/apps/nm-device-wired.png and shipped by nm-applet not by the ubuntu-artwork, reassigning

I won't call that a mouse, looks like an rj45 plug for me.

For what it's worth, there now appears to be a decent icon (in the Human theme, I believe).

However, /usr/share/icons/hicolor/22x22/apps/nm-device-wired.png is still the same, if that matters.

I'm personally happy with the new icon.

As noted in the bug, the default icon is provided by the Tango theme now and is less mouse-like.
