Bug Description
Binary package hint: xorg
Since upgrading to 9.04, screen freezes several times a day and no response to mouse or keyboard. Can't identify any particular activity causing it, but it's usually when using Firefox (not always though).
If I'm logged in from another machine, I can see Xorg is at 100%, but I can't reboot, so a power cycle is necessary to recover.
vino-server was also at 100%, but I disabled it. The problem still occurs without vino.
The output from ubuntu-bug -p xorg should be attached, although I can't see it while writing this?
ProblemType: Bug

NonfreeKernelMo
Package: xorg 1:7.4~5ubuntu18

SourcePackage: xorg
Uname: Linux 2.6.28-11-generic i686
UPDATE.
It also happens with firefox at 100%. Again when logged in from another machine, I can kill firefox (becomes zombie), but nothing happens when I try to init 0 or 6.
Tried running with compiz disabled - no difference.
I guess it's not xorg then???

I've posted a new version of the -nvidia driver to our xorg-edgers PPA,
would you mind testing it either on Jaunty or Karmic and see if it
resolves this bug?
