Bug Description
If my SanDisk Compact Flash drive (SanDisk Mod. #SDDR-92 Part #20-90-00134) is plugged in, grub correctly shows up, but after choosing the kernel I want to boot, the computer freezes saying "Booting the Kenrel".
This is verified every time i happened to forget the CF-drive plugged in. MS Windows correctly boots with the same drive, while none of the kernels i have installed (2.6.12-9-386, 2.6.12-10-386 and 2.6.12-10-686-smp) ever booted.
If there's a way i can provide more informations, please let me know.
Note: the original reporter indicated the bug was in package 'linux-image'; however, that package was not published in Ubuntu.
