Can't burn a DVD in Brasero Disk Burner in Ubuntu 9.04

Bug Description

I get an error message saying "Please replace disk with supported CD or DVD. It is not possible to write with the current set of plug-ins." I'm using Brasero 2.26.1.

Hi,

I have the same problem. My DVD Burner used to work with 8.10 or Debian, I don't think the problem is hardware related but I guess it's a software problem - so that might impact a lot of users.

You can also find in attachement the result of brasero --debug.
You may also notice that the debug.txt file show several cases where brasero complain about symlink (mkisofs being a simlink to genisoimage and cdrdao being a simlink to wodim).

Thanks for your report, could you run brasero from the command line as: brasero --brasero-media-debug &> brasero-debug.txt perform the operation to reproduce the bug and attach the resulting file to the report?. Thanks in advance

Thanks for the report epistrat , It has been a long time without any comment or a duplicate in this bug report and It is possible that the bug has been fixed. May you please try to reproduce it with the latest Stable Release of Ubuntu the Natty Narwhal and add the respective comments to the report?
