Bug Description

libflash should be named gplflash. People get confused because they think gplflash is not in the repositories.

Suggestion:

libflash-dev - gplflash-dev
libflash-mozplugin - gplflash-plugin or gplflash-mozplugin
libflash-swfplayer - gplflash-player or gplflash-swfplayer
libflash0c2 - gplflash orgplflash0c2 (I don't know what the 0cs means!)

I will (try to) look into it myself.

I think that would break the debian policy, but I have to check it.

Anyway a fair solution for all could be have a gplflash metapackage installing the plugin and the player (so the library would get installed to as a dependency)

If you think it might break Debian policy, I'll wait for you to research that.

Almost a year now at needs-info, and the libflash package no longer exists (edgy). Rejecting. If this still needs to be discussed/implemented for dapper, please reopen the bug.
