Kfacebook provides integration of facebook into the desktop through a plasmoid and an akonadi resource. It currently lives in http://
I don't know the current status of it but it seems to be the best way to have facebook in karmic.

Thanks for reporting this bug. I tested kfacebook and it does not work for me. Also there seems to be no activity within the last 3 months. Therefore I am marking this bug as invalid.
