Bug Description

When I try to use the search facility which Nautilus has, I get an error message:

Unable to connect to Beagle daemon

I haven't got the beagle package installed, but I have the libbeagle0 package installed because it's a nautilus' dependence.

I post an screenshot.

As you can see in the screenshot, searching with nautilus is impossible because I get an error message.

Thanks for your bug. Did you already install beagle? Do you have a .beagle directory for your user? That could be a lock left or something like that...

Oops! Yes, I did install Beagle some time ago, and then uninstall it. And yes, I have a .beagle directory. Removing it from my home dir solves the problem.

Sorry about that :/ Feel free to close the bug, as it's my fault.

What about finding a method to impede that? Maybe, removing the beagle package must shows a notification message to warning the user about the .beagle directory...

If beagle left a lock that's a beagle issue, feel free to bug the beagle package with some datas about it. Better if the issue is easy to get after installing and removing beagle again, it might have been a transitionnal bug fixed since too
