Bug Description

Binary package hint: abiword

Ubuntu version : Ubuntu 8.04.2 64-bit

Abiword version : 2.4.6-3ubuntu3 "abiword-gnome_2.4.6-3ubuntu3_amd64.deb"

Open Abiword
select Insert --> Equation --> From Latex...
Type in an equation, click insert..

It crashes (program closes)

When starting up from console, the output is:

Installed GtkMathView and associated latex files, no difference.

Thank you for reporting this bug to Ubuntu. Ubuntu 8.04.4 reached EOL on May 9, 2013.

I've tried recreating this bug with your release and was unable to, given the information you've provided. Please upgrade to the latest version and re-test. If the bug is still reproducible, increase the verbosity of the steps to recreate it so we can try again.
