Bug Description

Idea:
In the devscripts there is pull-lp-source, and pull-debian-source, how about adding a pull-revu-source could be useful when building and testing revu packages.

Best Regards
Charlie

If someone is interested in working on this, you can get the URL to the latest .dsc file for a particular package looking at: http://revu.ubuntuwire.com/dsc.py?package=<PACKAGE_NAME>&url

That request also includes error handling, and if some problem occurs the first line has an error number and the 3th line a description for human beings. Possible errors are:

 - Not a valid package name (code 2).
 - Package doesn't exist (code 3).
 - File should be there but it isn't: deleted manually or whatever (code 4).

(A planned features was that not including the &url part would redirect you to it, but that didn't work because of Debian bug #466605).

The pull-lp-source and pull-debian-source scripts allow you to get packages for different Ubuntu/Debian releases. An interesting feature for the pull-revu-source script would be the ability to pass it an upload ID or a date in order to download older versions of the package. This could be useful in order to easily verify that all recommended changes were made.

I am closing the bug against REVU. Nothing in REVU is preventing this script from being made.
