Bug Description

Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-input-synaptics

Touchpad is disabled in latest (as of today, 2009-07-08) karmic live cd. There is no evidence of it in lshal or lspci. Manually installing xserver-xorg-input synaptics and enabling it manually in xorg.conf doesn't solve the problem.

Please install the "input-utils" package, then type the following command:

sudo lsinput > input_devices.txt

and attach your "input_devices.txt" file

You can mark it as invalid, it is fixed in the last daily image of Karmic.
