Bug Description
Binary package hint: gdm
I'm running Ubuntu 9.10, installed from the Alpha 2 CD and up-to-date as of 11 PM today. My version of gdm is 2.26.1-0ubuntu7.
In the System>Shut Down dialog box, Shut Down and Restart are both grayed out and disabled. I can still restart or shut down the system from the GDM greeter, or with the shutdown command.
The two options that are enabled are Suspend and Hibernate -- only Hibernate works on this system, as it's a virtual machine, and suspend is not supported. On previous versions of Ubuntu, Suspend would be disabled when running in a virtual machine.
