I have created a nmap 5 package for jaunty for personal use that is available from my ppa: /launchpad. net/~jacodt/ +archive/ ppa
https:/
I built it according to "my" understanding of the Ubuntu Packaging guide, and as it is my first packaging attempt I doubt that it adheres to all the guidelines required to get it into Universe.
Having said that, the package itself works. It contains no patches and is essentially a deb package of the upstream source available at nmap.org
