Complete machine freeze

Bug Description

Ben just for the sake of testing i did try booting -server-bigiron on a P4. It freezes "Uncompressing Linux... Ok, booting the kernel."

Machine is dead.

Same here, with dapper Flight 6, Beta 1, Beta 2 (LiveCDs and Install CDs). I think it may be the kernel(2.6.15) because Suse 10.1RC3 also freezes when booting the install CD.

Same for me too
I tried dapper server-install (flight6) on a via epia eden processor
Updated to 2.6.15-22-server via rescue-cd -> same problem

The original bug report was running -server-bigiron on a P4, which we aren't supporting. That's a -server machine. I don't expect -server-bigiron to work on anything other than real bigiron.
