Bug Description

Bug 339148 (as of this writing) has 401 duplicates. If one tries to view that bug in launchpad athttps://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-app-install/+bug/339148, the subscriber list is never displayed (the box where it should show up, along with the option to subscribe oneself or others does).

Viewing the bug on staging https://edge.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-app-install/+bug/339148 causes an oops: OOPS-1311EA173

This OOPSes on edge sometimes, too: OOPS-1320EB296.

I'm marking this as high since, although it's an edge case, it makes the bug page completely and utterly useless for the bugs that it affects.

The oops behavior is worse, frankly. And now that behavior has migrated from edge to regular launchpad. This is quite unfortunate; for example with bug 429322 (OOPS-1409A2898 for the record), we'd like to issue an update to fix it, but we need to solicit feedback from our users, and restricting them to email or API-based tools is going to make things much more difficult. Is there any ETA on when a fix for this might get rolled out?

This is a duplicate of bug 393476, for which there's now a fix in Launchpad devel; it should be on edge shortly if it isn't already.

However, Steve, the bug you've mentioned is actually also affected by bug 471974, which I'm currently working on fixing. There should be a fix for this on edge within the next couple of days if all goes well.
