I'm also experiencing this bug after a fresh Dapper beta install on an Inspiron 9300.

Does sudo gtk-update-icon-cache -f /usr/share/icons/hicolor solve that?

This appears to be a very different bug from 6473. I experienced 6473 until I updated my dapper recently. 6473 went away and 41003 appeared in it's place. In what way is this bug a duplicate? Cause?
