Bug Description

Heres how I did it:

I went to my panel. Right clicked and "Add to Panel" to add "CPU Frequency Scaling Monitor".

Now I start to left double-clicking the CPU Freq. icon constantly.

All of a sudden a hand appears and the mouse basically becomes useless.

The keyboard works only to the point of hitting CTRL+ALT+F1 so I can kill gnome-panel manually.

Im running dapper x86-64.

Thanks for your bug. What is blocked with a dnd cursor? Could you get a backtrace of the hang with gdb when switching to a VT?
- gdb -p $(pidof gnome-panel)
