Please sync mc 4.7.0-pre1-3 from Debian unstable.

mc 4.7.0-pre1 is now available in Debian Squeeze (testing) too. Why do not merge it with Ubuntu before Karmic is released?

Hi,

Except if it's a bug fixing only release, it will be hard to get it into Karmic before release: you first have to find someone that is willing to perform the merge (you, for example?), fulfill a FFe (https://wiki.ubuntu.com/FreezeExceptionProcess), get the approval of 2 MOTU release team member, and got it sponsored.

Otherwise, it will be automatically synced from Debian in the next version.

If you are willing to go through the full process, I can help you, but I don't have the time to do it by myself.

I have converted the title to: Please sync mc 4.7.0-pre1-3 (universe) from Debian testing (main).

The Ubuntu change can be dropped, because mc-4.6.2-utf8.patch was dropped and the function file_mask_dialog in src/filegui.c does not contain the questioned part.
