Bug Description
I'm not really sure the fault the ubuntu build changes, since I can't get the original version to run: When climbing up the ladder in the tutorial, the character gets stuck at the top.
I am using the amd64 version.

I can confirm. After initial load, running past the first UFO, and going on to the next level, the ladder is sticky at the top.
