Bug Description

Kubuntu Dapper Up2Date with amarok 1.4-beta3

When Amarok starts, it shows the splash screen, even if I have it unchecked in options. According to short speech on #amarok, this seems packaging bug.

on my up to date dapper (as of today) I can't get the amarok splash to show at all, no matter what option i tick (splash on or off)

For test beta packages it probably makes more sense to submit the bug directly upstream as there is active development behind.

Just to mention that, on my opinion, new duplicate bugs should be marked as duplicates of older, not the inverse (as here), but it's not important, it just makes "as is" I had not searched before, even if I'm the first reporter.
