Bug Description

Only seems to affect my dell latitude c600 laptop (Ati Rage Mobility m3). There is a random blank spot on the screen on the screen. This seems only an issue when the "Fill Screen" option in bios is set to on. Current fix is to either disable the fill screen option in bios or <Fn-F7> after X starts and the GDM is displayed.

This does not affect the Live CD which is afflicted with another bug (https://launchpad.net/distros/ubuntu/+source/ubuntu-live/+bug/42131)

LiveCD and installed drivers are the same. Can you please attach xorg.conf and Xorg.0.log?

No information provided since last May, assuming this is fixed nowadays. Reopen if necessary.
