Totem crashes when changing Connection speed

Bug Description

Steps to reproduce the crash:
1. Go to Edit -> Preferences.
2. Change "Connection speed" under General: Networking.

This can be reproduced always with totem-xine.
With totem-gstreamer this is not a problem and it is possible to change the connection speed.
