Deleted a dir, branched a new branch, 30 minutes later, nada

Bug Description

I just installed the latest client, deleted a dir, branched a new branch, but the applet has been coming and going for over 30 minutes, with nothing really happening.
The branch is about 20mb, so 30 minutes and still nothing updated online or significant bw usage seems pretty bad.
Applet just says "Updating 1 of 1 files..." (it should be uploading ~100 files).
Will attach logs.

After waiting for an extra hour or so, I quit the applet (made sure syncdaemon had exited as well), and re-opened it. Doing so has kicked off what looks like the files being uploaded, although the deleted dir is still there.
