Accelerator underlines are broken

Bug Description

In all GTK applications my accelerator underlines are quite litterally broken. Instead of a then underline, it looks like two fat dots.

This issues seems to turn up sporadically. Also when it occurs, moving over the GTK widget resolves the broken underline.

This is an example of the rendering error in evolution, but it does occur sporadically in other applications too.

I checked with other Dapper users, they don't seem to be suffering from this issue.

In case this might be a regression related to my video driver:

0000:01:00.1 Display controller: ATI Technologies Inc: Unknown device 5940 (rev 01)

xorg.conf
Section "Device"
        Identifier "ASUS Radeon 9250GE/TD"
        Driver "ati"

Thanks for your bug. Do you use any acceleration for your videocard? Could you attach your xorg.conf? Does it happen using fglrx or vesa as driver?

This is my xorg.conf, with which I'm experiencing the broken underline problem.

Hi,

Do you still have this problem with the Dapper 6.06.1 livecd or, better still, the Edgy RC1 cd?

Thanks in advance.

I have been on Edgy for a week now, and I haven't seen it occuring yet. So it seems to be fixed in Edgy.
