Not even packaged yet.

Please file a needs-packaging bug report. See https://wiki.ubuntu.com/UbuntuDevelopment/NewPackages for information on that. Only once that is done we can consider it as a replacement of qt-curve.

Though, to be honest, from reading the description on kde-look I would have a feeling that qtcurve, even though less oxygeny, is the technically more reliable and sensible solution. So no guarantee that we will drop qtcurve.

I already packaged it... It just needs to be sponsored.

That doesn't make it a valid bug. Please don't change it again.

It is more a feature request than a bug. The openSUSE project uses Oxygen-Molecule with success in openSUSE 11.3

Then they are shipping a GTK theme without basic features like color scheme support. Not very good for integration, if you can't change the color scheme...

Maybe I find some information why openSUSE has chosen Oxygen-Molecule....
By the way: Why don't we use GTK-Qt-Engine anymore? This engine provided the best KDE integration ever. (cause it used Qt4 for drawing widgets)

This is a bug tracker, not a discussion forum.

Gtk-Qt-engine was the worst of the lot: bug 220575, bug 335029, bug 211622, bug 211841, etc. A visual nightmare due to is bugginess, unstable when even installed in a gnome environment, and unmaintained by its author.

Really, QtCurve is the best option at the moment in providing something for GTK that reasonably looks Oxygen.

Thanks for the information, I didn't know about that. (I just have seen a lot of open bugs in Debian, but I thought someone's working on it)
I'll keep an eye on this...
