Adept refuses to update

Bug Description
It seems that if the only available updates are "held back" and require a dist-upgrade, adept says "No updates available. Goodbye." You close adept (nothing else to do) and the systray icon still complains that there are available updates - with the correct number of available updates.

This isn't adept's fault - apt-get dist-upgrade also reports the package (libopenal-dev) as needing an update, but still holds it back.
