Bug Description

Everytime I boot my machine, everything works fine until the screen switches from the white Ubuntulogog (usplash) to the darker running bar of xsplash.
This switch doesn't occur, and I have to manually switch to VT7 to finish booting, which works fine after that.
I'm writing this at usplash, because if i deactivate it in grub (GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet nosplash") I get some normal text at first, but the whole boot is fine.

System: Ubuntu Karmic 64bit uptodate on Asus Notebook (C2D, Nvidia graphics, Intel chipset)

I'd be happy to track this down further if you need something specific.
