Dapper Beta - IBM Thinkpad T41p fan constantly runs at full speed

Bug Description

With the live CD of 6.06 Beta, the fan is always running at full speed. The laptop behaves normally (i.e., fan only comes on when needed) when running 5.10.

Maybe this is related to bug #42520. I'm using a Thinkpad R50e and had this issue some days ago, I use ubuntu from my hd however.
Also this might be related to bug #40621 (suspend problems).

Try setting experimental=0 in
/etc/modprobe.d/ibm_acpi.modprobe

This will turn off the fan direct control (I think this is directly related).
