Bug Description

Binary package hint: grub

I uncommented the hiddenmenu option in menu.lst and also added a splashimage.

At boot time, a portion of the image can only be seen under the area of the screen where the countdown text is displayed.

Tested on both a Breezy installation on a Toshiba laptop and a Dapper installation on a desktop pc with mobo Asus A7N8X-X

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering is this still an issue for you? Can you try with latest Ubuntu release? Thanks in advance.
