here: Ubuntu 9.10, Kernel 2.6.31-14-generic, MSI Wind 100

device is SOMETIMES visible in lsusb as
Bus 001 Device 004: ID 5986:0141 Acer, Inc (Acer = vendor of BisonCam NB Pro), but it doesn't work!

and SOMETIMES randomly it is not visible in lsusb. it's even worse, because then
IT AFFECTS OTHER USB-PORTS (see attached an extracts of dmesg)

and I can't use any of them. a reboot helps putting the ports up again.
if you need further information please contact me,
regards, edde

situation is similar edde306, but apparently the problem with vanilla kernel, because archlinux when you upgrade to 2.6.31 the same thing happened

we expect 2.6.32? or an error will be fixed in another version?

/sorry for my English

Judging from the comments of others here, this appears to be solved in Lucid.

Thanks!
