Bug Description

Binary package hint: samba

Two configuration update tasks failed during Samba's post install. It was the package that did the complaining.
Running P5Q SE, 3GB ram, 4.6GB free disk space, Ubuntu Jaunty with Xbuntu packages added.

There were several updates in the queue today. Attached is dpkg.log and I've pasted history out of Synaptic Package Manager.

That's fine.. it's a transient anomally, I agree.

Afterthought: ..the kernel image package preceding the samba package in the update queue flagged for a reboot which may or may not have affected something the samba package was doing or trying to access.
