compiz fails to load after latest karmic (beta) upgrade

Bug Description

Binary package hint: compiz

I installed karmic UNR and everything was working fine. I upgrade to the latest packages by doing "sudo apt-get upgrade" and now compiz fails to start. Also, the UNR interface is considerably slower even with metacity.

Some regression must have taken place.

Additionally, any further discussion regarding the bug should occur in the other report. Please continue to report any other bugs you may find.

Compiz is saying this: Software rasterizer detected, abortingaborting and using fallback: /usr/bin/metacity

That means your intel driver did not load properly so you're getting no 2D or 3D acceleration. Thus the slow down.
