Pasting lists with sublists results in incorrect output

Bug Description
When pasting a list of the following format from Firefox or Thunderbird into OpenOffice Writer:
* Level 1, Item 1
- Level 2, Item 1
- Level 2, Item 2
- Level 2, Item 3
* Level 1, Item 2
I get:
* Level 1, Item 1
- Level 2, Item 1
* Level 2, Item 2
* Level 2, Item 3
* Level 1, Item 2
As you can see, only the first item in the second level ends up in the second level. This also happens with deeper sublists as well.
