Bug Description
Not sure if this is a rhythmbox bug or a kernel bug, per se, but while playing audio CDs with rhythmbox on my dapper laptop, I get a bunch of the following:
[4640401.140000] printk: 35 messages suppressed.
[4640401.140000] sg_write: data in/out 30576/30576 bytes for SCSI command 0xbe--guessing data in;
[4640401.140000] program rhythmbox not setting count and/or reply_len properly
[4640405.134000] printk: 23 messages suppressed.
[4640405.134000] sg_write: data in/out 30576/30576 bytes for SCSI command 0xbe--guessing data in;
[4640405.134000] program rhythmbox not setting count and/or reply_len properly
The printks lead me to believe that it's the application at fault for doing "something wrong" here. If you believe that's not the case, by all means, bounce it to the kernel instead. :)
Do you have similar messages if you use sound-juicer?
