I have to use the mouse to select the user I want to login with. This was and should be able to do with the keyboard alone.

I think this is quite an important accessibility issue. I have tested booting without a mouse attached and it is impossible to login. I think this bug was introduced recently, possibly within the last few days.

As you may see above, the problem observed not only on amd64. I observe it on a standard Intel Centrino Duo System, namely DELL Inspiron 640m.

I can confirm that this affects all Karmic installation I've done so far, upgrading or fresh install with the beta CD.
