Probably no-one has because all attention is going to preparing for the
Dapper release.

gswitchit is no longer in the repositories. Is this application even usable for Ubuntu at this point? If not, and the application has been removed from universe, can this bug be marked as closed?

In my PPA, I made .deb available

deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/sergey-udaltsov/ubuntu intrepid main universe

gswitchit-plugins downloads sodipodi svg flags from
http://internap.dl.sourceforge.net/sourceforge/sodipodi/sodipodi-flags-1.6.tar.bz2
This tar.bz2 is really very old, because still contains an old flag (Georgian Flag).

Is it possible to put attached ge.svg flag into archive then upload this file in some secure place and then use it ?
Is it possible ?

I have no idea, this package is out of scope of plugins and this bug. You probably should file a bug in sf.net.

GSwitchIt Plugins license is GPLv2

GSwitchIt functionality is integrated into GNOME so this series of plugins is deprecated as well. This bug is no longer valid.

Artem, this is incorrect.
GSwitchIt is integrated - but not the plugins.
The indicator widget (used in gnome-screensaver but not on panel) is still able to use plugins.
