Couldn't unsubscribe IMAP folder

Bug Description

My IMAP configuration looks like this:

INBOX
INBOX.friends
INBOX.archive
...
foo
foo.bar
...
sys.something

I couldn't unsubscribe the folder foo.bar. When I unsubscribe it, first everything is fine, but after a restart of Evolution the folder is subscribed again.

Even when I unsubscribe it with the help of thunderbird and then start Evoluton, the folder is subscribed. In some cases then not only foo.bar is subscribed, any folder in foo.* is subscribed.

Thanks for your bug report. Which version of evolution and Ubuntu do you use?

Do I assume correctly that Thunderbird handles the situation gracefully? Do you know which IMAP server is used?

The server use cyrus21-imapd: 2.1.18-1+sarge2 and is an Debian Stable system.

I use evolution 2.6.1-0ubuntu6 and Dapper

Oh, I forgot. Thungerbird handels the situation perfect. I checked this again and recognized, that in Thunderbird the folder was unsubscribed, even though Evolution show me the folder. (I quit Evolution before running Thunderbird).

If you explain me, how to check on the server, if the server think I subscribed this folder or not. I have full access to the server.

By the way, I use the "imap4" protocoll to have access to the folders outside INBOX

It might help to look at the terminal output or to get a debug log by using
CAMEL_DEBUG=all evolution > log

Hmm, I can't reproduce it anymore. I swear, I test it again and again and it didn't help. I wait 2 weeks before reporting this bug. But now it works. I tried to unsubscribe another folder outside INBOX and this works also.

I will close this bug.
