Bug Description

Binary package hint: pulseaudio

I cannot increase the master volume in alsamixer without it resetting to 0 (and thus having no sound output). I believe I have tracked the source of the problem to PulseAudio. When I ran paman, I saw that the PulseAudio connection is being refused.

Fix for bug is nuking the ~/.pulse* directories.

rm -r ~/.pulse*
Then let pulseaudio re-spawn. Run gnome-alsamixer, unmute Master and PCM controllers and adjust volume levels.

Mods, please close this bug.
