Bug Description

disks-admin crashes after a few seconds, while scanning disks and partitions. I have a fake-raid, which I guess is the reason.

I don't know why it kicks in at partition number 6.

Interesting, it seems like the raw devices /dev/sda and /dev/sdb also have been mounted! They show up in "Computer" too. This is a bug somewhere else, like hal or nautilus.

I can confirm that disks-admin itself mounts these raw devices. In addition it mounts the ntfs partitions rw (according to the attached mount output).

Here, disks-admin also crashes when I start it.

This is a fresh amd64 install (yesterday, updated today). I don't know what a fakeraid is, but I have 2 linux software raids, including root; and 2 ntfs partitions.

Marking as invalid, as disks-admin was removed from gnome-system-tools in ubuntu a long time ago.
