Bug Description

Binary package hint: nautilus

in dapper, if i go on a folder in my harddisk with nautilus, and at the same time open the folder in a terminal, type "touch a.txt" in the terminal, the new file doesn't automatically appear in the nautilus window.

it seems to me it worked in dapper, but maybe i'm wrong. anyway, i think the file should appear without the user having to hit "refresh".

well, i rebooted and now it works. so i'll close the bug. also before the reboot, when i clicked on an openoffice document, nautilus refused to start openoffice. starting openoffice itself from applications->office worked fine.

the bus is not invalid. i was in a state where some parts of nautilus stopped working without error messages. a reboot fixed it, it doesn't happen anymore now, so i don't see how can this be debugged. but the bug exists in some circumstances.

if i'll reproduce it i'll reopen this bug.
