Bug Description
My local ISP server in Seoul (SKbroadand 100Mbps LAN) does not give an IP adress with the Ubuntu 9.10 default DHCP setting. Windows XP works fine but Ubuntu 9.10 (9.04 also in fact) doesn't work. It gets DHCPOFFER timed out.
To make it work, I have to edit the /etc/dhcp3/
send dhcp-client-
It would be great that the dhclient automagically sent my MAC address.
I remember in the old days, I didn't need to edit a configuration file to add my MAC address. DHCP just worked. When dhclient came, something went wrong, I guess.
