Bug Description

Binary package hint: rhythmbox

If the play/pause shortcut key is pressed at the right moment (just before the notification comes up) as Rhythmbox automatically changes from one track to the next one, then the icon changes from the playing icon to the paused icon, and likewise the "play" checkbox in the right-click context menu become cleared, but the next track keeps playing regardless. Unpausing at that point has no effect; pausing again then works as normal. (The expected behaviour would be for either the previous track, or the new track, to be paused; even if a pause had no effect at that moment, I'd expect the interface's information about play/pause to match whether the song was actually playing or not.) Incidentally, Rhythmbox was collapsed to the notification area during all this; I don't know whether that makes a difference.
