Problem which prohibits a quick fix: The form contains a person picker which is form-overlay in itself. LAZR-JS chokes on that.
Solution would actually be to extend the person picker in LAZR-JS to (optionally) allow the creation of a team on the fly and then use that picker directly.
Paul is even dreaming of on-the-fly account creation here, but let's not jump too far ahead ... ;-)
