Bug Description

Binary package hint: lirc-modules-source

I updated from breezy to dapper and the installation of lirc-modules-source failed because /usr/bin/ucf could not be found.

Output of sudo apt-get dist-upgrade (german):
[...]
Richte lirc-modules-source ein (0.7.1pre2-11ubuntu1) ...
/var/lib/dpkg/info/lirc-modules-source.postinst: line 122: /usr/bin/ucf: No such file or directory
dpkg: Fehler beim Bearbeiten von lirc-modules-source (--configure):
Unterprozess post-installation script gab den Fehlerwert 1 zurück
Richte vdr-dev ein (1.3.37-1) ...
Fehler traten auf beim Bearbeiten von:
 lirc-modules-source
[...]

I had to install ucf manually to get lirc-modules-source installed.

Does this also occur on the current backported version?

This is fixed in edgy; the "ucf" package depend was missing. If you install that first, you should be able to finish the installation.
