Bug Description

Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-driver-i810

I'm using a laptop with an i830m video chip.
After i installed dapper from the live-cd and restarted, the
X display is blank. (it is however possible to switch to a console using "Alt+Fx"). i tried the package mentioned in
#29880. sadly, this did not help. The same machine was running beautifully on a "dist-upgraded" breezy until X "broke". This bug could be related to #36028

i think this bug can be closed, as after the last update I did X started as expected. I don't think xserver-xorg-driver-i810 was to blame. sorry for the fluke, but i simply couldn' t debug this problem.
