Bug Description

Binary package hint: openoffice.org

When manipulating connectors in OpenOffice Draw, the connectors sometimes lose track of their position on the page and can't be selected.

For example, in a blank OpenOffice Draw document:
1) create a connector (anywhere on the page) unattached to any objects.
2) move one of the connector's end-points (such that the connector's bounding box changes)
3) click on a blank part of the page to deselect the connector.
4) now try to click on the connector to select it.

At this point the connector refuses to be selected except by dragging a selection rectangle which encloses its *previous* bounding-box (i.e. before its end-point was moved at step 2). The connector seems to think it's still at the old location on the page.

This also occurs when one of the connector's end-points is connected to an object. In this case the connector's geometry is correctly updated after that object is moved.

I've just tested and the problem still occurs.
Presumably the Xubuntu repository (and therefore my machine) is still on v3.3.2 rather than v3.3.3 or the recently released v3.4.2.
I'll download the v3.4.2 ".deb" from the LibreOffice website and report my results soon.

nick_s, I am closing the bug task for LibreOffice because the bug has been fixed in the latest development version of Ubuntu - Oneiric Ocelot.

This is a significant bug in Ubuntu. If you need a fix for the bug in previous versions of Ubuntu, please do steps 1 and 2 of the SRU Procedure [1] to bring the need to a developer's attention.
