Bug Description

I did a "apt-get install mysql-server". It downloaded all it needed, and when started unpacking... It hangs.
I needed to close it with ctrl+c.
Trying "apt-get -f install" doesn't works too.

Discovered that egrep was hanging at 100% CPU. Killed it and it looks like is working... At least I could connect to the root user.
