Bug Description

Binary package hint: ltsp-server

I have many ubuntu pc in my local lan, and in order to upgrade them I set up a apt-cacher proxy, so that all ubuntu pc's retrieve the packages via that proxy.

However, I see now that ltsp-build-client retrieves the base packages directly from archive.ubuntu.com .

That leads me to wasting time and bandwidth.

The problem would be resolved if ltsp-build-client used the same sources.list that is in /etc/apt .

If you look at the help for ltsp-build-client, you'll see the --mirror option.

ok, I can use the mirror option, but equally an option instructing ltsp-build-client to use the archive defined in source.list would be fine.

i'll add a --copy-sourceslist plugin to the ltsp-build-client script (you can do that very easily yourself if you want to speed it up and attach the code here ;)) its very easy, i described it on:

it is in the --help command:

/ogra@osiris:~$ LANG=C ltsp-build-client --extra-help|grep sources
--copy-sourceslist use the servers sources.list instead of generating one
